Sex, Lies & Red Tape"How the ski industry REALLY works" This live presentation by Jack Turner is a thoughtful look from the inside at the ski / snowboard business, especially resort operations. Turner's observations about life for ski resort employees range from the lighthearted to the serious. During his 45-minute presentation approximately 150 images are shown to keep the audience entertained and showcase the beauty (and humor) of life on snow. This program is best suited for large gatherings of employees, especially at resort events designed to build teamwork or motivation. It is carefully crafted to appeal to long-term, experienced employees as well as new hires. Most resorts have used the program for early-season employee orientation or that mid-season "let's re-energize" party. While there are serious messages about teamwork, safety, risk, and other issues important to resort operations, the presentation is really about perspective - "Don't take yourself too seriously, remember to have fun, and be thankful for the opportunity to work at a resort."

Resort will either arrange ground transportation or will reimburse Turner for rental car expenses. Lodging / meals Host must provide lodging/meals for Turner at a location convenient to the presentation site. Such lodging must include use of facilities (exercise room, pool, etc., if any), telephone access fees (but not long-distance charges), and parking. (Fees for multiple appearances can be negotiated). WARNING: This presentation IS NOT for the humor impaired or uptight resort executive. If you're looking for a dry speaker that wears a suit, discusses statistics, and shows pie charts - don't book this presentation.
